

Alpha Omega: Chapter OneChapter I The wind is whipping through the canyon, spreading dust everywhere. It is getting harder and harder to see anything; least of all, the enemy. Alpha throws his back against the canyon wall, his enemies sitting above him on the ledge. There is very little room for him maneuver on the narrow, cliff edge. He can see them above him, kicking pebbles over the edge and smacking into his helmet. He looks away, checking his HUD. His partner, Omega, is green. Vitals are strong and he is safe. Alpha can see a small, blue light flash on his HUD, signaling to him that Omega is in position. He flashes back a red light,Alpha Omega: Chapter One


Lysa's StoryThe curtains were drawn and the lights had been shattered. All around the room were posters of emo rock bands and objects of death and misery. The room had not seen a mothers touch in many years. The room belonged to a 16-year old girl, named Lysa; however, our story does not start here. No, it starts elsewhere and ends here. Lysa was a late bloomer. She did not start to develop until the age of 14, but when she did, it came with a force. Of course all the guys took notice of her and how could they not? The Last Message "I-I'm sorry," James said, the tape recorder catching the quiver in his voice. "Everything I put you through, the misery you have suffered, it's like nothing really matters anymore. I want you to know that I love you, more than anything. I hope you find someone that will love you forever. Forget about me, I never really mattered to anyone anyways." James clicked stop on the recorder and set it down on the table. He tried to get up from his chair but he was too weak, life had drained his energy from him. The Guardian Once upon a time, there was a small village, called Anathema, that consisted of around 40 citizens. There were about fifteen homes that dotted the hillside bordering the Azure Forest, with about five buildings for their general store, blacksmith, carpenter, town hall and the butcher and baker shared a building. The buildings themselves were made of simple wood and stone materials and their culture was very primitive, akin to our pilgrim heritage. But Anathema faced a problem that it had dealt with for hundred of years, it was built atop one of two portals to the cursed demon realm.
